Swim Under The Sea with The Little Mermaid at The Straz Center in Tampa
Little Mermaid at the Straz Center is a true magical experience for all the senses! This epic theater adaptation of the story of Ariel as she follows her dreams had all of us singing along with the familar songs, laughing at the antics of Sebastian, Scuttle and Flounder.The stage was transformed beautifully as the under the sea world came alive in beautiful vibrant colors, the vision of mermaids swimming through the sea was breathtaking. I would recommend this for all ages as I attended this performance with my children who are 12 and 9, and. my Mom who is 65. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Have to admit my Mom and I had tears in our eyes at the end, nothing better than a beautiful happy ending!
Just in case you might think the men in your life (young or old) might not enjoy the performance wait till they meet Ursula and her electrifying sidekicks Flotsam and Jetsam the eels!
You still have time to catch this performance in Tampa before its final performances on July 16th you will not be disappointed, bring the family!
