Easy Orange & Banana Bundt Cake with Orange Glaze
My daughter absolutely loves to bake. In fact, she will say that “cooking is boring, baking is much more fun.” So when we are able to create something in the kitchen together, I really value that time. That being said, if I am baking, it has to be fairly easy, because as you all know, baking is something that I am continuously working on 😉 And that’s exactly what this bundt cake recipe is, fairly easy and absolutely delicious. I know it’s technically a “cake” but I say that considering it has bananas and orange in it, it’s completely acceptable for breakfast. Especially with a cup of my Orange Zest Coffee.
This orange and banana bundt cake is actually made with mostly pantry staple ingredients, so you probably have all the ingredients in your house right now. The only thing I needed to grab at the store was an orange, we almost always have bananas on the kitchen counter.
These are the ingredients you will need to make this Orange Banana Bundt Cake:
Flour
Baking Soda
Salt
Cinnamon
Sugar
Vegetable Oil
Eggs
Bananas
Orange
Simple enough, right? I thought so too. Like I mentioned, if I am baking, it definitely has to be an easy baking recipe, so I am thankful that my daughter and I came up with this yummy bundt cake. This may be the only time I witnessed my son eat bananas 🙂
The bananas make this banana and orange bundt cake deliciously moist, and the orange zest and juice gives it a touch of natural sweetness. It’s almost like sunshine in a cake!
The orange glaze on this bundt cake is…oh my. First of all, it’s incredibly easy to make, but it’s so good! Freshly squeezed orange juice and powdered sugar, I mean, how could you go wrong?! YUM.
This easy banana and orange bundt cake would actually make the perfect addition to brunch, so if you have one planned or are headed over to friends and family for a delicious celebration, make sure you bring this along with you. Everyone will be asking for the recipe!

Can you make this Banana Orange Bundt Cake without a bundt cake pan?
Yes! If you don’t have a bundt cake pan, you can still make this banana and orange cake. You can use loaf pans or even regular cake pans, but you will have to adjust your baking time. Cake pans are thinner than a bundt pan, so your cake will cook in less time. Loaf pans are smaller than a bundt pan, so if you would a loaf pan, you cake will cook in less time. So, just keep an eye on your cake to make sure it reaches proper doneness. Hmmmm….I don’t think “doneness” is a real word, but you catch my drift 🙂
