Create a festive Peppermint Hot Cocoa Board with milk, peppermint treats, and fun toppings! A perfect family holiday activity to enjoy together this season. While this post is sponsored by Florida Dairy Farmers, all opinions and my love of festive holiday treats are my own.

There’s something magical about gathering together during the holidays, the laughter, the twinkling lights, and the delicious traditions we look forward to every year. Now that both of my kids are home from college at UCF (my heart is full!), I’m looking for every opportunity to spend time together in a way that’s simple, fun, and absolutely delicious.

Enter: the Peppermint Hot Cocoa Board.

This festive take on a charcuterie board combines everything we love about the holiday season… cozy mugs of creamy hot cocoa made with Florida Milk, peppermint candy canes, snowy white marshmallows, and sweet treats that make every sip even more delightful. It’s a family-friendly activity that turns snack time into a celebration! Using milk instead of water gives your hot cocoa a richer flavor, velvetier texture, and that nostalgic warmth that just feels like home. And since Florida Milk comes straight from local Florida dairy farmers who care deeply about quality and freshness, it’s a delicious way to support your community while making unforgettable holiday memories.

Whether you bring this out before decorating the tree, during a holiday movie night, or after driving around to see Christmas lights, it’s guaranteed to bring big smiles and warm hearts.

Why This Hot Cocoa Board Is Perfect for the Holidays

A hot cocoa board isn’t just a recipe. It’s an experience! Something that brings everyone to the table, sparks creativity, and invites a little holiday magic into your home.

With my kids home from college, these moments are everything. We laugh as we build our mugs, debate the best toppings (Team Peppermint vs. Team Extra Marshmallows), and enjoy simple, sweet togetherness. This board creates a space for that.

When my kids are home for break, these are the moments I want to hold onto…simple fun together before they head back to campus life. Making this hot cocoa board gives us that slow-down, cozy night in that every family craves during the holidays.

It’s the kind of activity everyone remembers, not for how fancy it was, but because you created it together.
