Healthy Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

Tzatziki Sauce is an excellent condiment for so many things!  I know traditionally you would put Tzatziki Sauce on gyros or use it as a dipping sauce for fresh veggies, but have you topped fish with it?  Have you put Tzatziki Sauce on a pizza?  It’s so good and adds a creative twist to many recipes.

And when you make it at home, it’s not only fresher, but healthier!  If you follow Weight Watchers at all, you will be happy to know that this homemade version is ZERO points on the Blue Plan!  That’s right ZERO points!  You use non fat Greek Yogurt and then your fresh herbs, garlic, cucumber lemon zest and lemon juice.  Pretty easy, right?  Honestly, it’s the best tzatziki sauce I have ever had!

Healthy Homemade Tzatziki Sauce

We made this homemade tzatziki sauce for my healthy Greek-Inspired Pizza, but then we made more and used it as a dip for cucumbers and other fresh vegetables.  Healthy snack for the win!  Then we used it on some fresh Spanish Mackerel that my son caught when he was fishing in place of tartar sauce.  Again, absolutely delicious.
