The ingredients you need to make this easy caramel sauce recipe are:
- Brown Sugar
- Milk
- Butter
- Salt
To make this recipe for homemade caramel sauce all you have to do it put everything into a small sauce pan and let it cook a little and then let it cool down so it can thicken up a tad.

- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- ¼ cup milk I used skim
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Add brown sugar, butter and milk to a small sauce pan
- Bring to boil, stirring regularly
- Allow to cook for 3 - 5 minutes
- Allow to cool slightly to thicken
- Drizzle on top of your favorite dessert or breakfast
