Homemade Blueberry Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

Have you ever made the perfect salad and then decided that there wasn’t a salad dressing in your pantry or refrigerator that was good enough for the deliciousness you just made? That has happened to me on several occasions, you get your favorite leafy greens then start adding in your favorite vegetables and fruits and before you know it you have created salad perfection! And when that happens, you know that a sub-par salad dressing won’t do.

When I created my Bacon and Blueberry flatbread, I knew it needed a touch of “something” to top the arugula, but nothing in the store or in my pantry seemed just right. So, I created it. My Blueberry Balsamic Vinaigrette was the perfect addition to my Bacon and Blueberry pizza, and in the days following, it was delicious on my salads and for dipping grilled chicken.

I will openly admit, that I love just about anything with balsamic vinegar and when I added in the blueberries…..YUM!  But, don’t take my word for it, take 5 minutes and make some of this amazingness for yourself!

Ingredients

• ▢ ½ cup balsamic vinegar
• ▢ ¼ cup olive oil
• ▢ 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
• ▢ 2 teaspoons honey

Instructions

• Place all ingredients into your favorite blending device
• Enjoy!
