It’s that time of year.  Fall is right around the corner and we will all start seeing our favorite apple varieties a plenty in the store and at the farmer’s markets.  And this Easy Apple Crisp recipe is the perfect way to use a couple pounds of your favorite apples.  This is actually one of my husband’s favorite desserts. There is just something comforting about warm apples with a simple crisp topping and ice cream that makes everything better. I love that this apple Crisp is actually pretty easy to make and only requires a minimal amount of ingredients…which you probably have in your pantry right now.

Easy Homemade Apple Crisp with Oats

The hardest part about making homemade apple crisp is peeling the apples. If you have an apple peeler (my mom did when I was growing up and I always thought it was so cool) now is the time to break it out. Once you have the apples peeled, you have to slice them, making this the 2nd hardest part. After you have the apples prepared it’s easy to make homemade apple crisp!
