I am actually very excited to say that I was able to go to the official LAUNCH of Ben’s Beginners right here in Tampa! Families filled Datz in South Tampa, put their aprons on and got ready for some FUN!
Executive Chef Andy walked everyone through how to make Barbacoa and everyone’s creations looked so yummy!
While we were at Datz and everyone’s meals were cooking we also got nutritional tips from Lisa Dorfman. One of my favorite tips? Any activity is GOOD activity – anything that gets you up and moving is a great thing. Another favorite tip…quit worrying about everything that is in your food – enjoy in moderation and enjoy wholesome foods!
Executive Chef Andy said “If people didn’t experiment in the kitchen, we wouldn’t find great foods.” So, keep that in mind while you are cooking with your kids, experiment, try new things, switch up some ingredients, discover great foods 🙂
