Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies #SweetCreations
Are you planning your cookie recipes yet? We will all be baking up all sorts of delicious goodies for family, friends, and of course SANTA here real soon, so I thought I would share one of my favorite cookie recipes 🙂
Peanut Butter and Jelly are two of may favorite things…so why not in a cookie?!
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter – I used whipped
- 1/2 cup butter – room temperature
- 1 egg
- Jam/Jelly of your choice
- Beat butter until creamy – approx 1-2 minutes
- Add in sugars – mix for 1-2 minutes
- Add in peanut butter and egg – mix
- In separate bowl mix the dry ingredients together
- Add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture
- Mix well
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Shape dough into balls – I used the Sweet Creations Stainless Steel Cookie Dropper
- Place with 3 inches apart on ungreased Cookie Sheet
- Use spoon or finger to make an indention in the ball and fill with jelly of your choice – I used Grape and Strawberry
- Bake for 10 minutes
