Mummy Dogs – The Perfect Halloween Meal
Mummy Dogs are the perfect way to celebrate Halloween at meal time! They are really easy to make and the whole family can join in. There is no wrong way to wrap your Mummy Dog – they always come out cute and thanks to Pillsbury Crescent Rolls they always come out scary-delicious π
All you need to make this Halloween Meal is Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and your favorite hot dogs.
I used a pizza cutter to cut the crescent rolls into thin strips, about a 1/4 inch thick.
Then wrap away! Like I said, there is no wrong way to wrap your mummy. We had one with arms and legs, we had one with lots of “wrapping” and one with just a little. No matter what way you wrap it – it’ll be YUM!
If you have any crescent rolls left, or if you have two cans, you can make these easy and adorable cinnamon sugar witches hats.
All you do is sprinkle cinnamon sugar onto the crescent roll, fold up the wide end, and bake them for the same time as your Mummy Dogs. I tossed on a candy corn in the middle for the “buckle” part.
Now, here is how you make Mummy Dogs. Be sure to print and pin the recipe so you can make them year after year.
- Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- Hot Dogs
- Remove the crescent rolls from the packaging and unroll them, do not separate them (you can divide it in half if you are making 4 or less mummies)
- Using a pizza cutter, cut the crescent rolls into 1/4 inch thick strips
- Wrap the hot dogs with the strips of crescent rolls
- Bake at 375 degrees for 13 – 15 mins
- Enjoy!
Happy Halloween!
