Food should be savored. After all, food is a love language in and of itself. Whether you’re vegetarian, paleo, gluten-free, or even vegan, the food and recipes you will find here on Food Wine Sunshine are flavorful and mostly healthy. I’ve done my best to include a wide variety of exciting options on this website and I’m always interested in testing and adding more. So, if you have a recipe idea, I’d love to hear about it.

Like you, I’m a busy mom who doesn’t have time to make complicated, gourmet meals. But I can whip up a quick weeknight meal like a healthy Greek-inspired pizza from scratch with fresh vegetables. On-the-go? Make one of my smoothie recipes to take with you as you’re running out the front door. How about an easy make-ahead breakfast so that we can sleep in on the weekends? Or maybe you just don’t want to feel like you are stuck in the kitchen during special holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Whatever the occasion, I’ve got you covered, from breakfast to lunch to dinner and every snack break in-between.

Oh and don’t forget about the beauty of brunch – the meal that is all about celebrating time with family and friends, not slaving in the kitchen. If we can get our family meals on the table in 30 minutes or less, it may leave us some time to relax with a cocktail or glass of wine later! Just because meals can be ready fast, doesn’t mean they have to be bland! I believe food should be inspiring, colorful, creative, and delicious. We have to eat three times a day anyway, so let me show you how to enjoy every bite.
