Iβm often asked what things there are to do in Florida by people that are thinking about visiting. Here in the Tampa Bay area we have two award winning theme parks β Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island. Busch Gardens is an amusement park filled with a zoo, heart pumping roller coasters, and world class shows that are sure to entertain the whole family. Adventure Island is a state of the art water park with adrenaline inducing water slides, and a huge wave pool that features man made beach style waves every 10 minutes.
Our neighbors in nearby Orlando are home to all of Mickey Mouseβs houses including Disney Worldβs Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s two water parks: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Orlando is also home to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay water park, and Sea World.
Just an hour east of Disney World near Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral is Kennedy Space Center. There you can unleash your inner astronaut and learn about the history and future of space travel. Itβs out of this world!
The fun of Florida doesnβt stop there. Imagine swimming off the coast of the beaches of Fort Myers, walking the streets of the United States oldest city, St. Augustine, relaxing on the beaches of Jacksonville, or playing a round of golf at a swanky country club in West Palm Beach. Or you could indulge in a meal from one of the top chefs in the country and then dance the night away at a hot nightclub in Miami. Whatever you fancy, one of the cities in Florida can most likely deliver it to you. Our state truly is one of the most exciting places to visit!
