It’s important to Refuel and Recover after your workout. Make this healthy Blueberry Cucumber Protein Smoothie and replenish the vitamins and nutrients your body needs!
Blueberry Cucumber Protein Smoothie
Smoothies are not only good for you, but the replenish the good stuff that your body uses through the day. In this Blueberry Cucumber Smoothie recipe, I added French Vanilla Neocell, Collagen Sport, Ultimate Recovery Complex. After a long run or a fabulous Jazzercise class, I need to Refuel & Recover. Adding Neocell Collagen Sport, Ultimate Recovery Complex helps me do just that.
NeoCell’s whey isolate is developed using selective ion-exchange technology, which results in a highly effective and bio-active performance protein for muscle development. I work out to get those muscles and lose those calories, so adding Neocell Collagen Sport, Ultimate Recovery Complex Powder to my smoothie just makes sense!
Most sports recovery supplements don’t target a critical nutritional need in the body – connective tissue. Large muscles held together with weak connective tissues dramatically increases the risk of joint injuries. You can support your tendons, ligaments, bones and blood vessels with Super Collagen 1&3. NeoCell’s absorption-enhanced type 1&3 collagen will provide your body’s connective tissue with more of the critical peptides it needs to develop a sturdy connective tissue matrix.

What do you do to help your body refuel and recover after a good workout?
I mentioned Neocell Collagen Sport Ultimate Recovery Complex powder in this post and in my recipe, it is packed with 30 g of protein and I am really enjoying the French Vanilla variety in my daily smoothies after my workouts. While I did receive it for review, all opinions and the recipe are 100% my own.
Here are the health benefits to the ingredients in this smoothie recipe:
Blueberries – These beautiful berries will also give your body an antioxidant boost.
Bananas – Besides tasting great, they are loaded with potassium which helps muscles recover and relax, and they have also been known to help you sleep better.
Carrots – The orange powerfood will give you vitamin A and is also linked to preventing cancer, giving you healthier looking skin and aids in digestion.
Cucumbers – These are great for rehydration. Cucumbers are also a great source of vitamin B, so that means they are a natural pick-me-up.

This recipe sounds amazing! Thank you.
I would try this based on the ingredients. The picture of the top is not real appealing looking though. I think the side photo of it looks better. Still curious regardless.
Thanks for your feedback 🙂
I never would have thought to combine blueberry and cucumber. However, the recipe and other ingredients make it sound sumptuous!!!
I love cucumber in most of my smoothies. It has little taste, but adds in nutrients.
Sounds good like to try this
This doesn’t sound too bad. I don’t know about the Ultimate Recovery Complex Powder. I have never tried it.
