Bordeaux!

We need to go back...We did not see all we wanted to see. We didn't sip all the wine. We need to go back!

Loved the fall colors in the vineyards. Oh and the food 😍

We went to the @citeduvin - which I highly recommend the Immersion Wine Tasting and having lunch on-site....The tasting was amazing and the views at lunch were incredible.

Cooking class with @thegastronomebordeaux was absolutely amazing! The cooking class started with a trip to the market for fresh ingredients and then chopping, cooking and sipping wine 🍷 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Wine tasting with @bordeauxwithelodie was not just wine tasting! She gave us history of St. Emilion, knowledge of winery classifications and so much more! Oh...and the tour and tasting at @chateauguadet was UNREAL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

When walking around downtown we walked thru the town Cathedral and saw that they were having a Christmas Luminescent show. OMG, this was BREATHTAKING. Disney couldn't have done it better.

There wasn't a thing we would change about this stop on our France adventure besides maybe adding a day!

48 hours in Paris! Let's Gooooo!

My husband and I just got back from our last European adventure. We started in Paris where we met up with his brother and wife ❤️

What we did:

Day # 1
We landed early so we got a cappuccino and walked around the Louvre (no, we weren't the ones that took the crown jewels) and the gardens

We went to the Crazy Horse show that evening

Day # 2
We walked and walked and walked lol. 23,000 steps this day! And Uber rides lol!

We started at Notre Dame, then Montemarte, then Little Red Door for cocktails, then to the Eiffel Tower for magical twinkling lights and dinner.

The next day we jumped on a train and headed to Bordeaux while my in-laws stayed to enjoy the rest of their vacation in Paris 🇫🇷

I will say that while I really enjoy Paris, I think 2 days there is good...unless you are taking Day trips to other spots...Have you been? What's your opinion?

Happy hour is the best hour! The Rusty Pelican in Tampa is OPEN and celebrating YOU!

From the incredible wine selections, to that to-die-for Jalapeño cornbread, to the BOARD for two (just look at all that food!), and finally...those views! Omg!

My hubby and I went for the eats and views and ended up making it a staycation and stayed at The Current right next door 😍

Thank you for the memories Nashville!

I had the incredible opportunity to head to FNCE this year for our 3rd annual @healthy.family.project trivia event 💚

IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS thank you to all our amazing partners!

I got to spend some time with the most inspiring dietitians 💚 On and off the FNCE conference floor. And did you see those puppies 🐶

I learned about several ways to cook and enjoy pork at their cooking demonstration 😍

And while learning about the health benefits of all the @thewonderfulcompany products I got to make a CUSTOM @hillenbrandhats cowboy hat!

I am headed to France here soon and in preparation I was checking out traditional eats (well besides croissants, eclairs, bread and wine!) and I found this comforting dish...Chicken and Mushroom Fricassee. I had to make it before we left!

What is Chicken Fricassee?

Chicken Fricassee (or fricassée de poulet) is a beloved French comfort dish that’s part stew, part creamy sauté. Traditionally, the chicken is browned first, then simmered gently in a luscious sauce made with white wine, mushrooms, onions, garlic, and fresh herbs.

Made with @floridamilk, Greek yogurt and sour cream, it's creamy, rich but not heavy...SO GOOD!

It's soup season! Who else loves grabbing fresh fall produce and making something yummy? This is our Spicy Butternut Squash Soup 😍 🔥

Ingredients
▢2 lbs Butternut squash
▢1 finely diced habanaro pepper jalapeno would be fine as well- REMOVE THE SEEDS
▢½ medium sweet onion chopped
▢1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
▢2 cloves garlic chopped
▢½ tsp cayenne pepper
▢½ tsp ground cumin
▢½ tsp salt
▢½ tsp black pepper
▢2 cups chicken stock
▢¼ cup skim milk
▢2 oz low fat cream cheese

Pumpkin szn isn't just for lattes! Welcome Fall with this savory, creamy, cheesy one pot pumpkin mac n cheese 🧀 🎃

Here's what you need:

2 tbsp salted butter
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup sweet onion diced
3 springs fresh thyme
8 leaves fresh sage
1 pound pasta
3 1/2 cups water
1 cup whole milk
2 ounces cream cheese softened
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese – I used a cheddar mix
1 cup shredded creamy gouda cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes🔥
salt and black pepper
