K’NEX Mighty Makers Inventor’s Clubhouse Building Set Review
The K’NEX Mighty Makers line is amazing. My daughter loves to build and create but she never had a line of building toys that was more geared towards her interests…one that was a bit more “girly.” That didn’t stop her from building and creating at all, but when she discovered K’NEX Mighty Makers she definitely claimed these as her own!
When she received the Inventor’s Clubhouse Building Set for review from K’NEX she was really excited to get started on it. I will admit, I was a bit nervous that she wouldn’t be able to do this one on her own since the set was a bit bigger than the greenhouse she made in the past. But she did awesome! She had a few friends over at the time and they were all excited to get started.
All the kids were ages 11 – 8 and they followed the step-by-step instructions and were inventing in no time! My daughter has had trouble following K’NEX instructions in the past, but this time she had no issues at all. Every once in awhile she would call over her older brother to double check something, but all in all, she did great!
Your little builder will help Emily create a flapping bird, like those she sees outside of the Clubhouse windows. Or, she can help Audrey build an animation machine to watch her drawings come to life. And of course, take a ride on the Clubhouse zip line. This set really gets your little builder’s imagination going, the possibilities are endless!
The K’NEX Might Makers Inventor’s Clubhouse includes 528 K’NEX parts and pieces, and include Emily and Audrey. The accessories included are a motor (two AA batteries not included), string, pulleys and gears, wheels, star snaps, graphic panels and more. We loved that it included colorful, easy to read instructions for 10 different mechanical engineering themed builds and inventions too!
The set is recommended for ages 7+, my daughter is 8 and just loves it! Again, she was able to follow the instructions without any adult help and has been playing with it ever since. She is very proud of her creation!
