Remove the pits from 4 moon cherries, then cut the cherries in half.
Place the cherries on the bottom of your favorite glass, squeeze in the juice from one lemon wedge, and add in the maple syrup.
Give the cherries a good smashing. I used a big spoon. You want to release all of that incredible cherry juice.
Add in the bourbon.
Stir well.
Add ice.
Top with a slice of lemon and a cherry.
Sip and enjoy!
