Equipment

  • Stove
  • Popsicle Molds

Ingredients

Homemade Strawberry Milk

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries you can also use frozen
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 cups milk

Homemade Strawberry Milk Popsicles

  • 1 cup thinly sliced strawberries
  • 2 cups strawberry milk
  • ½ cup frozen coconut optional

Instructions

Homemade Strawberry Milk

  • Wash and slice the strawberries, remove greens.
  • Add strawberries, sugar and water into a saucepan over medium heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Strawberry sauce will thicken slightly.
  • Pour the strawberry mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove all seeds if desired. Use a spoon to press the strawberries against the strainer, to make sure you are getting as much juice as you can.
  • Allow the syrup to cool before adding in the milk. You can simply put it into the refrigerator for a few minutes while you prep your popsicles.
  • When the syrup is cool, combine the milk and homemade strawberry syrup and stir gently.

Homemade Strawberry Milk Popsicles

  • Get out your favorite popsicle molds. My tray had 8 and this recipe made all 8.
  • Thinly slice strawberries.
  • Fill the popsicle molds half way with the sliced strawberries.
  • Add frozen coconut if desired.
  • Pour strawberry milk into popsicle molds to fill. You will want to leave just a little bit of space since the will expand slightly when frozen.
  • Place in freezer.
  • Freeze for at least 4 hours or until your popsicles are ready.
  • When you are ready to serve run molds under hot water for 20 seconds to loosen.
  • Enjoy!
