Sprinkle a small amount of salt and pepper on each side of the chicken
Partially cook the bacon slices in a large skillet on the stove
Wrap each piece of chicken in 2 pieces of bacon and place in the bottom of a slow cooker
Mix the apple slices and BBQ sauce in a bowl
Pour over the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken
Cook on low for 6-8 hours in the crock pot or until chicken is completely cooked
Enjoy!
You can also cook on high for 2-3 hours.
If you think you may have it in the slow cooker longer or using less than 4 chicken breasts, I suggest adding 1/2 cup (just enough to cover the bottom of the slow cooker) of low-sodium chicken broth to ensure it doesn't dry the chicken out.
