What Makes Pancake Sunday Special
Do you love pancakes? Our family does. Especially the kids. In fact, every Sunday we like to invite our friends and neighbors over for breakfast. We call it Pancake Sunday 🙂 We make everything from chocolate chip, to M&M, to blueberry, to bacon, and everything in between.
What makes Pancake Sunday so special? It’s the meal, it’s the smiles, it’s the laughs, it’s the memories we are creating, it’s…Pancake Sunday! Can you think of any other meal where you can feed 10+ people by simply mixing up your favorite pancake mix and putting them on the griddle? In just moments we can make the first wave of kids eating their favorite Krusteaz pancakes.
We always use Krusteaz mix, there is just something about it that cooks up fluffier and tastes the best. I will tell you that we have switched it up once or twice because of a sale or two, and would you believe that the kids can tell?! Oh yes, within the first bite I get the “Ms. Tracy, did you guys do something different this week?” Even though each pancake is either loaded with fruit, chocolate or whipped cream…they could still tell!
So, do I switch it up anymore? Nope. Do I give the crowds what they want on Pancake Sunday? Absolutely.
Pancake Sunday is a tradition that we have started with our friends that will forever be in our hearts and in the kids hearts. It is something so simple, yet so special.
I challenge you to start your own tradition, maybe a Pancake Sunday, and open it up to friends this weekend, maybe invite over an extra family member or two?

I’ve never tried this brand. I rarely eat pancakes because they’re too heavy for me. But, they are a good , inexpensive meal to feed a group of people.
I think it is a wonderful idea to have traditions like this and to bond over meals. Krusteaz is a great brand.
I will make up some pancakes when I get home from work on Saturdays. Fast and yummy.
It’s nice to start the day with everyone having a meal together before heading out for the day. And they can all pitch in.
