How Much Do You Rely On Your Vehicle?
Could you live without your car for 3 days? I am actually up in Michigan right now and we drive here in our RV. That means once I park it, I am without my own transportation for 2 weeks! I have to totally rely on friends or family members to the store to get milk, to town to go site-seeing etc. Have you ever thought about how much you REALLY rely on your vehicle?
While I love my family and my friends I have to admit, it’s completely different being on someone else’s schedule. I have to be ready when they say, I have to go where they want to go if there are any additional stops…which can be hard when I have the kids with me too! Do they have enough room for all of us? Do they mind?
It’s amazing how much you actually rely on your OWN transportation.
Did you know that according to the US Department of Transportation, “public transportation carried more than 10.5 billion passengers in 2013″?
That is a lot of people that are carpooling and dealing without their own transportation! In fact, according to Michael Sivak of the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, 9.22% of US households were without a vehicle in 2012.
When people face credit issues, access to necessities as simple as transportation becomes a challenge. DriveTime strives to alleviate that challenge by providing vehicles and financing to everyone, including those with bad or no credit who have been turned down by every other dealer.
Could you go without your own car for 2 weeks? How about just for 3 days? If you are looking for the freedom of your own vehicle, DriveTime is an excellent resource.

I didn’t have my car for over 6 months and living in a rural area it was brutal having to get to work and get my kid to her appointments and events.
I do not drive.I rely on walking, the bus,or just stay at home!
Living in a rural area, a car is a must!!! I sometimes miss living in a city.
i dont have my car , i go by walk
I don’t drive alot, but if my cars in the shop, or my husband is using it, I don’t like it one bit. I like knowing it’s there if I need it.
I live in the city and don’t need a car. We are close to everything so we can walk or take a bus or cab. I save alot of money that way.
